Middle Bluff marked an important milestone in the early growth of my studio.
I wanted the home to feel warm, inviting, and modern. Rather than filling every room, I focused on thoughtful furnishings, layered textures, and styling that highlighted the home's best features.
When I couldn't find the right dining table, I had one built and painted specifically for the space, reinforcing the tailored approach behind the overall presentation.
The presentation resonated in ways I never expected. The home received multiple offers, sold for $15,000 over asking price, and the buyers loved the furnishings enough to ask if they could purchase them along with the home.
What made the project even more meaningful was the recognition it received within the staging industry. I earned two Top 10 placements in the Rising Star Vacant Staging category before ultimately winning the Real Estate Staging Association's National Rising Star Vacant Staging Award.
Looking back, this project wasn't simply about winning an award. It reinforced something I still believe today: thoughtful design creates emotional connection. Whether I'm staging a home, styling an editorial shoot, or designing an interior, my goal is always the same: to create spaces people don't just admire, but remember.
