Property Presentation
Oak Place presented a unique design challenge. Although the home was vacant, the owners had left behind several furnishings that needed to remain. My role was to seamlessly blend those existing pieces with my inventory, creating a cohesive design that felt intentional from room to room rather than a collection of mismatched furniture.
Working across four stories, I focused on highlighting the home's architecture while layering in warm textures, sculptural accessories, and a neutral palette that complemented the rich wood finishes already throughout the home. The goal was to create a sophisticated, livable environment that felt consistent from the moment buyers entered until they reached the top floor.
To further elevate the presentation, I transformed an unused bonus room into a yoga studio. It wasn't part of the original staging plan, but giving the space a clear purpose helped buyers envision another way the home could support their lifestyle while making every level feel thoughtfully considered.
Projects like Oak Place remind me that great staging isn't always about starting with a blank slate. Sometimes the most rewarding designs come from working within existing constraints and creating a home that feels effortlessly complete.
