The Village Residence

This project centered on transforming the feeling of the home without a full renovation. Working within the existing kitchen, my focus was on creating warmth, balance, and a stronger architectural presence through thoughtful updates.

The kitchen and dining area were repainted, recessed lighting was removed to create a dedicated location for a dining chandelier, pendant lighting was replaced, and full-height drapery was introduced to soften the clean lines of the space. Tile under the island was replaced with a calmer selection. These changes established a more inviting foundation before styling began.

With the existing gray cabinetry remaining, I leaned into natural wood tones, layered textures, greenery, and collected accessories to bring warmth and character throughout the home. Rather than competing with the finishes, the styling was designed to create harmony, proving that even modest updates can completely change how a space feels.
